It is an indisputable fact that the hard working autoresponder has been and most likely will remain an integral tool in any marketer’s toolbox. However, just as with any “power tool,” this one needs to be used with caution. This is especially true in today’s Spam conscious marketplace.

Autoresponders exist in a number of different forms with various levels of product options. In it’s most basic form it can be found in the cPanel. Here it really only performs the basic function of responding to a received email. One can easily set it to respond, or send a return message automatically to any incoming email. Even in this most basic form this can be a very useful tool.

These days, it is much easier to create a website than it used to be. In general, website-creation programs are much simpler to use - and you also have the option of signing up with an online web host with easy-to-use page creation tools.

But the biggest change has to be the advent of the blog.

“Blog” is short for ‘web log’. Blogs started off as a way for people to create an online diary. Bloggers would simply log on, tap out a paragraph or two giving their thoughts on life and the universe (and everything in between); click ‘publish’ and that was that. Their words were live on the Internet for anyone to see. The big appeal of a blog was that it was interactive: readers were welcome to add a comment on any post, with a link back to their own blog or website.

A lot of successful marketers say you don’t even have an internet business if you don’t have your own list.
By building a list you have a sustainable business model not dependent on outside sources for traffic or income.

Building a list is collecting email addresses of people who want to be contacted by you. The benefit of building a large list is you have contact with hundreds to thousands of people whenever you have a message to get out.

If you don’t collect names from people who are visiting your website you are missing out on repeat traffic. Odds are most people who visit your website only do so once.
By collecting email addresses you are recycling the traffic you worked so hard to get in the first place.

Adsense as a sauce of income. My findings.

Can I cash in just $1.00 a day

Firstly I soon realised that just placing Adsense code on the site is not enough if I am looking at a minimum income of only one dollar a day.
Over the next few months I will need to experiment a lot with Adsense formats, placement and choice of keywords.

My thoughts so far are to start a new website on a niche topic dedicated to Adsense revenue.
