So what progress has been made since my start into Internet Marketing? Well, to be honest, not a whole lot in the financial front. As for the learning curve? I think I have picked myself up from the bottom and have managed to climb just a few rungs up the ladder towards the top.
I now know that the best advice I was given was to put away my credit cards and hide my wallet. There are a lot of internet marketers out there who will offer you hundreds of products “guaranteed” to make you rich overnight

There is so much written on business planning these days that it’s hard for nearly anyone to argue against the value of planning.

Some people like to run there business by the “seat of their pants,” and no one would argue that a little spontaneity is great to have in your life. But you do need to plan something at some point, or your efforts will simply be one reaction after another. The non-planner will end up taking no proactive action to improve his or her business. The most successful people plan their business goals and are motivated to accomplish them.

Every internet marketer needs a master plan. Do I have one?
I was hoping that this Blog would act as an ongoing master plan that can be changed and added to as this progresses.

I still think it is possible to make a good income with Internet Marketing. After all, there is a report circulating stating that internet marketing was dead.

Adsense took a beating a short time ago when Google made some changes. But it is still possible to make some extra money with a Web site or two.
What I need to try is an article site that is dedicated to Adsense and can attract a lot of traffic. I’ll research this as soon as I can.

I’ll need a domain name, a hosting account, and a niche topic. Preferably one that I know something about. That makes it easier to fill it with content.

If I want to make a good income with one or two Web sites then good content is a must. Your goal is to create a site that attracts people and keeps them coming back.

The main thing so far is not to set unrealistic goals for myself.
By setting and achieving reasonable goals, I’ll build confidence in myself and my ability to succeed in this venture.
This allows me to confidently set ever-increasing goals that I can regularly meet.

Biggest problem at this point is I seem to be planning myself to death (paralysis by analysis).
At some point I will have to put a plan into action and take the next step to put that plan into operation.
I’m shore that there are many Internet marketers who come up with a good idea, formulate a plan and never put that plan into action because they constantly analyze and refine that plan - without end.

When a person comes online, they are generally looking for information and resources.
Many people like myself are searching for a way to make money online and therein lies the setup for an unhealthy partnering of newbie and Internet savvy scam artist.

Everyone that has been online for a while and has set up a business needs to market that business to pay their bills and to grow their business.
However, the Internet seems to be in need of growing a “conscience” when it comes to the e-books, the software, and the tools that are offered to new people and those that are still searching for a method to better their life.
