I think the answer is those with their own products.

There is nothing wrong with me being an affiliate and doing affiliate marketing.
There is nothing wrong with my Google Adsense.

But, I think the people that are making a killing online are those who create niche products and know how to market them.

Building a List from scratch.

Most informed people in the internet marketing fraternity say you don’t even have a business if you don’t have a list. By building a list you have a sustainable business model not dependent on outside sources for traffic or income.

Building a list is collecting email addresses of people who want to be contacted by you. The benefit of building a large list is you have contact with hundreds to thousands of people whenever you have a message to get out.

Web Design: Planning multiple Websites.

Firstly, it is really important to know why I chose to take this path.
Being given control of a number of websites to help build a profitable internet marketing base seemed to me to be a chance that was too good to let slide.
Even though I have more than doubled the workload and my meagre budget looks a little too optimistic for such a task, I decided to give it a go.

I have listed my research into the generation and running of this internet business that will be named IMM Studios.

When designing an internet business like this, one must consider the following key elements: the purpose of the business, the possible audience, content structure and the design compatibility of the web sites for that business.

There is so much written on business planning these days that it’s hard for nearly anyone to argue against the value of planning.

Some people like to run there business by the “seat of their pants,” and no one would argue that a little spontaneity is great to have in your life. But you do need to plan something at some point, or your efforts will simply be one reaction after another. The non-planner will end up taking no proactive action to improve his or her business. The most successful people plan their business goals and are motivated to accomplish them.

Every internet marketer needs a master plan. Do I have one?
I was hoping that this Blog would act as an ongoing master plan that can be changed and added to as this progresses.

I had to take a slight leave of absence from this Blog. There’s been a lot going on over the last few weeks. I acquired a portfolio of websites from a person who has been dabbling in internet marketing for a few years now with very little success…or though to be fare it was just a hobby to him and part of a bigger programme of projects to better understand the internet and web design. Anyway to cut a long story short, I now have complete control of the websites. We’ll start again here…
